Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and efficient Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all incoming shipments, ensuring that inventory is received, inspected, and recorded correctly. Your attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will work closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure smooth inbound logistics. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong data entry skills, and understands the importance of Safety in a warehouse setting. This is a key position that impacts inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips, noting any discrepancies.
  • Enter received goods into the inventory management system accurately and promptly.
  • Tag and label incoming inventory appropriately.
  • Organize and store received materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding receiving issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics operations.
  • Report any issues or damages related to incoming shipments to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a receiving, inventory control, or warehouse role is preferred. Must be able to perform moderate Lifting and stand for extended periods. Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills is required. Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills. A strong commitment to workplace Safety is essential.
