We are looking for a motivated Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. This critical role ensures that our customers receive their correct orders promptly and efficiently. You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory, preparing them for shipment, and contributing to the smooth flow of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding high standards of Safety. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to fulfill orders with precision. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick designated items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for shipping and logistics coordination.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all warehouse Safety regulations.
- Consistently wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure personal Safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is highly preferred. Must be able to perform frequent Lifting and stand for extended periods. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills are essential. A strong focus on Safety and adherence to all guidelines is mandatory.
