Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to Safety standards. This leadership role is critical for managing our logistics processes and motivating our warehouse staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in compliance with company policies, Safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock rotation to optimize space and minimize loss.
  • Implement and enforce strict Safety procedures, including regular Safety training and audits.
  • Manage the effective use of warehouse equipment and resources.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics flow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness throughout the warehouse.
  • Manage the proper use and maintenance of PPE for all team members.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety and experience implementing Safety programs.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Experience with Material Handling equipment and protocols.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
  • Familiarity with required PPE and its importance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
