We are looking for enthusiastic Order Pickers to join our vibrant team in Miami, Florida. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will work with hand-held scanners and follow pick lists to locate and select products. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can work at a brisk pace, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. This position is a cornerstone of our daily logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves based on order lists or scanner input.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Stage orders for packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of picked items as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment for moving goods.
- Adhere to all Safety protocols and company policies.
- Meet established picking quotas and performance standards.
- Follow instructions carefully and report any issues encountered.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in using hand-held scanners and order picking technology.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics.
- Commitment to wearing designated PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
