We're looking for a
Senior Network Engineer
who wants to own something meaningful. You'll be the technical architect behind our mission-critical network infrastructureconnecting field operations, cloud environments, and corporate systems that keep natural gas flowing and carbon capture operating 24/7. This isn't a "ticket queue" role. You'll lead modernization initiatives, design highly available hybrid architectures, and solve complex problems that directly impact production environments. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge technology while partnering with field teams, security, cloud engineers, and C-suite leadership. If you're tired of being a small cog in a large enterprise IT machine and want to build something from the ground up, this is your opportunity. What You'll Build Design and deploy enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructures across operational sites Lead core network refresh projects (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless) Architect highly available solutions using vPC, HSRP, VRRR, GLBP, dynamic routing, SD-WAN Design and manage hybrid cloud networking in Azure and AWS (ExpressRoute, VPCs, transit gateways, peering) Optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) and configure firewall/VPN infrastructure Monitor network health, perform root cause analysis, participate in on-call rotations Partner with stakeholders to translate technical solutions into business impact
What You Bring
Non-Negotiables: 10+ years enterprise network engineering experience Cisco CCNP (required or strongly preferred) + CCNA (required) Deep expertise in routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, data center technologies Hands-on hybrid cloud experience (Azure and/or AWS) Field operations communication skills
- you can explain network concepts to non-technical operational teams Production environment ownership mentality - comfortable with on-call, high-pressure incidents, accountability for uptime Ability to manage competing priorities and willingness to do what's needed

Enterprise switching (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus) | Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) | Firewall/VPN infrastructure | Cloud networking (Azure ExpressRoute, AWS VPCs, SD-WAN) | Wireless (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba) | Monitoring tools (SolarWinds, CloudWatch) | MPLS, DIA, Metro-E, carrier management Location
Primary:
Fort Worth, TX (strongly preferred) Alternative:
Denver, CO (considered for exceptional candidates) Occasional travel (10-20%) | Hybrid flexibility with core on-site presence
