One of our clients is looking for Sr. Network Analyst. The role is hybrid, with 2 days a week on-site in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Job Description:
- Help the Network Team Lead implement operational plans, goals, and objectives to improve network service delivery.
- Support the Network Team Lead with resource and financial planning for the Network team, while overseeing hardware licensing and support contracts.
- Assist the Network Team Lead with assigning and coordinating work, while acting as a mentor to other team members.
- Help design, implement, maintain, and optimize client's wired and wireless network infrastructure including client's WAN infrastructure. Do the same for network aspects of client's data center co-location facilities in Winnipeg, Toronto, and Stettler, Alberta.
- Provision, configure, and install network core and distribution systems and perform corresponding scheduled or out-of-band updates including service packs, hot fixes, firmware, and security patches.
- Provide tier 2 technical support and coordination of issues and requests for client's core network infrastructure, retailer networks, and connectivity to external stakeholders. Keep stakeholders in the loop about problem investigations and resolutions.
- Oversee the processes for patching or updating systems and ensure systems have adequate license and support.
- Initiate reviews of requirements, specifications, or requests for solutions. Develop network architectural designs and technical proposals with corresponding cost assessments and budgetary analysis.
- Analyze requests, evaluate solutions, assess estimates of effort and financial aspects of solutions, and provide recommendations to clients, in consultation with the Network Team Lead.
- Oversee design and development efforts of solutions and integrate solutions that can impact multiple areas of the infrastructure. Coordinate with other business units to ensure solutions are within standards and compatible with other systems.
- Some overtime and On-Call support is required.
Requirements Qualifications:
- University Degree in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering and/or Information Technology Diploma, or a relative field.
- Minimum 6 years technical and network experience managing complex IT environments, primarily network infrastructure.
- Cisco CCNP Certification would be an asset.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus Data Center switches, ASA, Firepower firewalls, routers and Catalyst switches
- Experience with the following systems and tools is an asset:
o Cisco Identity Service Engine
o Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Access Point
o Cisco Catalyst Center
o Cisco Nexus Dashboard
o BigIP F5 vCMP, LTM, and AFM
o Cisco SD-WAN and SD-Access
o VXLAN EVPN Multi-Site topology
o SASE Netskope products - Experience working for a network provider or Telco is an asset.
- Experience working on co-located data centers would be beneficial.
