We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position is crucial for the efficient day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You will be involved in various essential tasks, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses good organizational skills, and has a strong understanding of and commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack items according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including aisles and workstations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Assist with inventory counts and other inventory control tasks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, with a focus on proper PPE usage.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or general labor role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
