Graduate
Electrical
Engineer
for our Vancouver, B.C. office. The selected candidate will provide electrical engineering support to Sedgman. He/she will be involved with the design of electrical systems for heavy equipment and mining infrastructure, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance while providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical design support through the engineering phases PFS, FS, conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in mining technology and recommend implementation of new equipment or processes
- Additional duties as required – may be required to work on client sites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Discipline)
- With 0 – 3 years of work experience in electrical design
- Must be eligible to register with the EGBC or will have their P.Eng EGBC designation
- Knowledge of electrical engineering codes, equipment, and technologies
- Good communication skills with well-developed written and oral skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be available to travel to Client sites; may be seconded to work on projects, either temporarily relocated, or placed on a rotational roster.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship

Salary Range: $58,000 - $64,000
The salary offered to the successful person for this position will consider education, experience, relevant skills and capability, geographic location and market conditions at the time of hire.
