General Farm Labourer

Overview
Vegetable Crop Farm: Prepare & irrigate soil. Planting, fertilizing, weeding, tarping, harvesting crops to

promote healthy growth & maximize yields. Picking row crops, sorting, weighing, packing vegetables to

maintain quality control for distribution. Loading, unloading, transferring of crates/boxes, supplies & farm

produce for transport to ensure timely delivery to storage facilities/market. Cleaning racks, trays, bins, general

clean-up of fields, packing areas, grounds to maintain hygiene & food safety standards. Assist in general farm

mtce which may include infrastructure, equipment, tools to ensure clean and in working order for safety.

Prepare basic progress reports as required to track harvests & packaging. No experience required. Training will

be provided to the ideal applicants to include equipment operation. Indoor/Outdoors, Refridgerated/Cold/Hot.

Wet/Damp. Dusty Conditions. Must work well as part of a team. Physically demanding, heavy loads, repetitive,

sitting, standing, walking. Attention-to-detail.

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
