The Software Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions. This role provides technical leadership, defines system architecture, and ensures that software designs align with business requirements and industry best practices. Note: Candidate must provide one professional reference. Key Responsibilities
Design and define overall system architecture for software applications. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs. Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools. Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices. Review and validate technical designs and code for quality, performance, and security. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment. Identify and mitigate technical risks and system bottlenecks. Guide development teams through architectural decisions and implementation. Ensure system scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security. Document architectural designs, standards, and technical guidelines. Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong experience in software design and architecture. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript). Experience with modern application architectures (monolithic, microservices, cloud-based). Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling. Understanding of APIs, integrations, and distributed systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science or related field. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards. Prior experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
