What You'll Be Doing As our Workshop Co-Ordinator, you'll be the go-to person for managing the workshop and leading the team day-to-day. Your responsibilities will include:
Running the workshop efficiently - planning workloads, prioritising tasks, and ensuring smooth operations. Leading and motivating the team - providing guidance, approving holidays, and maintaining accurate records. Driving Health & Safety compliance - promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring standards are met. Managing trailer inspections and MOT processes - guaranteeing quality and compliance. Handling breakdowns and coordinating repairs during garage hours. Managing stock and parts - ordering, raising PO numbers, and keeping KPI sheets up to date. Conducting quality checks on inspections and repairs. Maintaining workshop standards - cleanliness, equipment calibration, and PPE compliance. Overseeing service paperwork and defect logs with precision.
