Were committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business./ph3Position Summary/h3pThe Senior Data Analyst uses statistical methods, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop, maintain, and deploy tools, including dashboards, infographics, reports, and presentations, to inform and support decision-making by key stakeholders. This role mines, cleans, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using key performance indicators, business results, industry sources, competitors and member information. This individual is required to have a clear understanding of stakeholder needs and transform those requirements into accurate, easy-to-understand outputs. This position requires the team member to present data-driven insights to all levels of the organization in a clear, accurate, and concise manner. This individual must develop and maintain a good understanding of our corporate model, objectives, and challenges by collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the organization./ph3Principle Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliWillingness and ability to exhibit Wellby Core Values every day./liliWorks with purpose and is driven to provide the best team member experience./liliConnect, consolidate, and clean data from multiple sources into Power BI./liliDesign and maintain robust data models that support dynamic reporting and analytics./liliConduct in-depth analysis on given subject matter and translate insights into a story that meets the stakeholders requirements./liliBuild and maintain interactive dashboards, ensuring visualizations are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with stakeholders needs./liliCollaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organization to understand, translate, and document business requirements./liliPresent data informed strategic recommendations based on stakeholders needs./liliIdentify and execute streamlining data workflows and automate reporting processes./liliEnsure data integrity, consistency, and data governance across all owned reporting platforms./liliDocument data sources, logic, and dashboard usage guidelines./liliDevelop and maintain operational dashboards and or reporting within various systems./liliAnalyze and clearly communicate data./liliResearch the root cause of data anomalies and troubleshoot any issues./liliOptimize reports and dashboards for speed, scalability and usability./liliMentor, train, and provide guidance to junior-level analysts./liliSpearhead, collaborate, and execute requirements based on project needs./liliGenerate ad hoc reports as needed./liliPerforms other related duties as assigned./li/ulh3Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)/h3ulliKnowledge of Wellbys organizational functions and general operating policies and procedures./liliKnowledge of secretarial practices and procedures, business English, spelling, and punctuation./liliKnowledge of personal computer, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other software./liliKnowledge in AI concepts and applications, with the intent to leverage AI towards driving innovation./liliKnowledge of SQL, Python, Power BI, Excel, and/or SSRS./liliSkilled in advanced data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Power BI, or Python./liliSkilled in data visualization and storytelling through dashboards and presentations./liliSkilled in synthesizing complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights./liliSkilled in critical thinking and problem-solving to draw meaningful conclusions from data./liliSkilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communications, and adding machines./liliAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing./liliAbility to derive meaningful insights from multiple data sources, simplify complex concepts to easy-to-understand storytelling presentations, and deliver findings to senior-level leadership./liliAbility to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members./liliAbility to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously./liliAbility to be adaptable of new technologies, tools, and methodologies, and having a willingness to learn and stay updated./liliAbility to exercise independent judgment./li/ulh3Supervisory Responsibilities/h3pThe team member does not have supervisory responsibilities./ph3Complexity Scope of Work/h3ulliThe team member will ensure policies, procedures, and programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and compliant with professional standards./liliThe team member performs routine and generally related tasks without supervisory direction./liliTasks may occasionally have to be coordinated, integrated, and/or prioritized./liliCourses of action are determined by established procedures and/or the VP of Finance Optimization./liliThe team members work is reviewed periodically for accuracy, completion, and compliance with the policies and procedures./liliThe team member uses independent judgment in making decisions./li/ulh3Physical Demands Work Environment/h3ulliThe physical demands and work environment characteristics described here represent those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Some degree of stress results from contact with management and other team members./liliThe ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)./liliMust be able to occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds across the office and load them onto shelves for various needs./liliThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate./liliWork involves the typical risks and discomforts associated with an office environment but is usually in an adequately cooled, heated, lighted, and ventilated area./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field/liliMinimum of five (5) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles, preferably within financial services, banking, or credit union environments./liliProficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation and database management systems./liliExperience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or DOMO is preferred./liliStrong knowledge of statistical concepts, experimentation, and financial modeling./liliExperience in scripting languages and statistical packages (e.g., Python, SAS, R) is advantageous./liliCertifications Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate/liliBondable/li/ulh3For All Candidates/h3pThis is a Full-Time, Salary (exempt) role./p/div
