About Roxanne Assoulin

Roxanne Assoulin is a jewelry and lifestyle brand founded on joy, simplicity, and a deep belief that design should be accessible, fun, and full of heart. We are at an exciting moment in our growth — expanding into new categories, opening our flagship retail store, and building a team of leaders who want to shape the future with us.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Flagship Store Manager
to lead the launch and ongoing success of our first-ever brick-and-mortar store. This role is the
heartbeat of our brand experience
—the person who will help bring Roxanne Assoulin to life in a physical space and set the tone for what retail means to us.

This is a leadership position for someone who:

  • Has experience
    opening stores
    (non-negotiable)
  • Thrives in fast-growing environments
  • Loves retail and building teams
  • Wants to grow with a brand and build something meaningful
  • Understands creativity + operations, not just one or the other

If you are someone who leads from the floor, champions culture, and loves the details, this is an exciting opportunity to build with us.

Key Responsibilities

Store Opening & Launch

  • Lead and execute all pre-opening tasks in partnership with the Chief of Staff and Founder: store setup, merchandising, inventory flow, policies, staffing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and document
    all retail SOPs
including sales, service standards, cash handling, opening/closing, visual resets, UGC content guidelines, and event procedures.
  • Partner with leadership to create a
    launch calendar
    for the first 90 days.

Retail Leadership & Team Building

  • Hire, train, schedule, and manage the store team with clarity and compassion.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creative problem solving, and optimism.
  • Conduct ongoing coaching, feedback, performance reviews, and role clarity conversations.
  • Own staffing plans and weekly payroll approvals in partnership with operations.

Customer Experience & Brand Representation

  • Deliver best-in-class service rooted in warmth, radical hospitality, and connection.
  • Be the face of the brand in the store — lead from the floor, always.
  • Maintain brand voice and tone across in-store interactions.
  • Manage VIP appointments, private shopping, styling sessions, charm bar activations, and experiential retail moments.

Store Operations & Business Performance

  • Own weekly and monthly store performance metrics: sales, conversion, UPT, AOV, return rates, inventory health.
  • Manage Shopify POS operations and reconcile reporting daily.
  • Maintain immaculate inventory standards; coordinate with fulfillment and planning teams.
  • Drive commercial performance through storytelling, merchandising changes, and real-time problem solving.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation

  • Maintain visual standards that reflect our brand DNA — simple, joyful, elevated.
  • Build merchandising strategies based on data + instinct; collaborate with Marketing & Creative.
  • Oversee floor moves, product launches, window installations, and seasonal changeovers.

Community, Events & Growth

  • Partner with the founder and team to pilot
    experiential retail concepts
, pop-ups, trunk shows, and workshops.
  • Build relationships with local customers, hotels, stylists, concierges, and neighborhood partners.
  • Capture learnings from in-store behavior to help shape future retail expansion.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in retail leadership,
    including store openings
    .
  • Has built and scaled teams with heart and accountability.
  • Obsessed with customer experience and hospitality.
  • KPI-driven and comfortable with reporting, planning, and problem solving.
  • Thrives in creative environments and doesn't need rigid instruction.
  • Loves building — excited, not intimidated, by a growing brand.

Compensation

  • Salary Range:
    $80,000–$110,000 based on experience
  • Competitive health, wellness, and supplemental insurance options
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off, sick days, and company holidays
  • Commuter and transit benefits
  • Employee discounts and product access
  • Opportunities for growth, training, and development
