Fabricator

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for building and assembling various metal components. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications

• Measure and mark dimensions on metal sheets

• Cut metal sheets using plasma cutting and laser equipment

• Operate welding equipment to join metal components

• Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy of fabricated parts

• Assemble fabricated parts to create finished products

• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

• Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:

• Previous experience in fabrication or a related field preferred

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation

• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

• Experience with various fabrication techniques, including MIG, TIG and ARC welding

• Familiarity with plasma cutting equipment and techniques

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently

• Knowledge of ductwork and sheet metal fabrication is a plus
