Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior AI Engineers to lead the development of sophisticated AI agents and intelligent systems for manufacturing applications. This role offers the opportunity to architect and implement production-grade AI solutions that will directly impact operational efficiency and innovation in a major organization.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop complex AI agent systems for manufacturing automation and optimization
Design and implement multi-agent orchestration frameworks for production environments
Build and maintain ontologies and knowledge bases for domain-specific AI applications
Lead technical initiatives from concept through production deployment
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders across manufacturing, logistics, and engineering teams
Drive innovation in AI agent capabilities and integration patterns
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of AI systems in production
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML development and deployment
AI Agent Development: Proven track record of building AI agents with at least some production or near-production deployment experience
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices
Deep understanding of LLM architectures, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
Hands-on experience designing orchestration systems for multi-agent workflows
Working knowledge of ontology design and knowledge representation
Experience with deployment practices and taking systems beyond local development
**Work Authorization:** Must be authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft AI Studio or Azure AI services experience
Model Context Protocol (MCP) - familiarity or experimentation (this is cutting-edge, production experience not expected)
Domain Knowledge: Background in manufacturing, logistics, automotive, supply chain, or industrial IoT (strong plus but not required)
Experience with real-time systems and edge computing
Track record of leading technical projects or mentoring engineers
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML systems
Publications, blog posts, or presentations on AI agent systems
Active engagement with emerging AI technologies and frameworks
Technical Environment
Advanced AI/ML frameworks and agent development platforms
Cloud infrastructure (AWS and Azure preferred)
Modern MLOps and deployment pipelines
Integration with industrial systems and IoT devices
High-performance computing and distributed systems
