Qualifications: 9 years
of experience as a
Postgres DBA
in a production environment Strong knowledge of
SQL
and
PostgreSQL internals , configuration, and administration Experience with
logical and physical replication ,
high availability , and
failover strategies Skilled in database performance tuning and query optimization Familiarity with
Linux environments
and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) MongoDB experience is a plus Experience in a
financial services or regulated environment
preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of
pgAdmin ,
Patroni ,
pgBouncer ,
pgBackRest , or
similar Postgres tooling Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, or Azure Database for PostgreSQL) Familiarity with
DevOps practices , CI/CD tools, and version control systems Understanding of
data security
and
auditing best practices
