Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments accurately.
- Store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including proper PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
