Join our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania warehouse as a Material Handler! This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our logistics network, ensuring materials are moved, stored, and prepared for distribution accurately and safely. You will operate various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to load and unload trucks, transport goods within the facility, and stock inventory. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining an organized and secure work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines and company policies. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, physically capable, and possess a strong commitment to teamwork. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience and grow within the logistics industry. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving, identifying, and staging incoming materials.
- Loading and unloading shipments efficiently and safely.
- Moving materials to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as required.
- Verifying shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment, following 5S principles.
- Performing routine checks on material handling equipment.
- Assisting with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Strict adherence to all Safety protocols and the use of required PPE.
- Implementing proper lifting techniques to prevent workplace injuries.
