You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing a wide variety of materials. This includes operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Your primary focus will be on maintaining an organized and accessible inventory, preparing materials for shipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. - Loading and unloading trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Moving materials to and from storage areas and production floors.
- Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and documenting any discrepancies.
- Performing regular equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Following all safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhering to established lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
