Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order lists.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and update order statuses.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory in designated areas.
- Meet or exceed picking and packing productivity standards.
- Participate in routine quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor promptly.
- Perform other tasks as assigned to support logistics operations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
