We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately selecting, packing, and staging customer orders within our fast-paced distribution center. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow within the logistics industry and contribute to a successful operation. You will be responsible for picking items from shelves using a scanner or pick sheet, verifying item numbers and quantities, and carefully placing items into designated containers. Attention to detail is paramount to minimize errors and maintain inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a high level of productivity while adhering to all safety protocols. This includes wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and following established procedures for safe lifting and material handling. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product identification and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for quality control and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and wearing required PPE.
