Join our busy Houston, Texas warehouse as a Material Handler! We are looking for individuals who can efficiently manage the flow of goods within our facility. This role is integral to our logistics chain, ensuring materials are handled, stored, and dispatched with precision and care.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments.
- Store, organize, and track inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Transport materials to and from various points in the warehouse.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Ensure proper use of all required PPE.
- Assist in preparing orders for shipment, including staging and loading.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize material flow.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting of up to 70 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong commitment to Safety and adherence to established protocols.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory control.
- Must be willing to wear and correctly use all mandated PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
