In this role, you'll be at the heart of our fulfillment operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for picking a variety of products from our inventory using pick lists or RF scanners and then carefully packing them for safe transit. This position is crucial to our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. We prioritize a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. This role involves a mix of standing, walking, reaching, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a strong work ethic. You will work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals. Your accuracy in picking and care in packing will contribute significantly to our company's success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Select the correct products and quantities from warehouse shelves.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy standards.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or order fulfillment is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product information.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
