We are seeking a focused Order Picker to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and speed are crucial to our logistics success and ensuring timely deliveries. You will work with order sheets or scanners to locate products, pick them correctly, and prepare them for the packing station. Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to all Safety protocols, including wearing the required PPE, is mandatory. This position requires the ability to navigate the warehouse, perform moderate Lifting, and maintain productivity in a dynamic setting. A strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Read order tickets or scan handheld devices to identify items to be picked.
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing/shipping area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to Safety guidelines.
- Report any discrepancies or stock issues to a supervisor.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Wear all required PPE and follow Safety procedures diligently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting (up to 45 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Commitment to Safety and following directions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
