We are seeking an energetic and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This critical role ensures the efficient flow of goods through our facility, supporting our extensive logistics network. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, accurately picking and packing orders, staging products for shipment, and assisting with loading and unloading operations. You will operate various warehouse equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. A strong commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE and adherence to all protocols, is essential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can work effectively in a fast-paced setting, and is capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting. - Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists with high accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage outbound orders for carrier pickup.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment and safety measures.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety guidelines, procedures, and the mandatory use of PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety principles and the importance of PPE in logistics.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
