We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth flow of goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to a secure and productive work environment. This position requires a valid forklift certification, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. You will be an integral part of our logistics operations, handling a variety of materials and products. Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination are crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
- Stack and retrieve materials from various warehouse locations.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Verify counts and product identification before moving materials.
- Report any damage to goods or equipment immediately.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
