Join our dynamic logistics team as an Order Picker in the heart of San Francisco, California! We are seeking motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently fulfill customer orders within our fast-paced warehouse environment. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are selected for each order. This role is crucial to our supply chain operations, guaranteeing timely and accurate delivery to our clients. You will work with various picking technologies, including handheld scanners, to maintain inventory accuracy and optimize picking routes. Your attention to detail will be paramount in minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all employees are expected to adhere to warehouse safety protocols and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities include navigating the warehouse, identifying products, operating pallet jacks or other equipment as needed, and preparing picked items for the next stage of the shipping process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. This position requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner and pick list.
- Locate products in the warehouse and ensure correct item and quantity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Meet performance standards for picking speed and accuracy.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
