Our Charlotte, North Carolina facility is looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our growing logistics team! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. We value efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. This position is fundamental to our success in delivering products to our customers on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders using handheld scanners or pick sheets.
- Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Package items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage completed orders for outbound shipping.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Assist in receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or fulfillment role is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
- Willingness to wear provided PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory principles.
