We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an Order Picker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order slips or electronic scanners. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety protocols. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment, navigate the warehouse effectively, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. Attention to your personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is paramount. Proper lifting techniques are essential due to the nature of the goods handled. Experience with RF scanners is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and update order statuses.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order slips.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and use of PPE.
