We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders for shipment. Your primary duty will involve navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve items from designated shelves and storage areas. This position is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an order list or RF scanner.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including stocking and inventory.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
