We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to enhance our React Native-based mobile app, ensuring exceptional performance on both Android and iOS platforms. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for React Native within our Client Platform team, collaborating closely with both Electron and web teams to refine app performance and facilitate cross-platform feature deployment. Your Responsibilities: Build and maintain Front's cross-platform client-side codebase. Enhance the user experience of our React Native mobile application. Delve into native code to optimize performance and leverage native Android and iOS APIs. Act as a cross-team subject matter expert on Android and iOS ecosystems. Provide leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers on the team. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience developing and maintaining real-time mobile applications that are fast and reliable. Strong proficiency in C/C++ and React Native. Product-focused with a commitment to delivering the best user experience. Adept at navigating a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative high-growth environment. Understanding of trade-offs inherent in various engineering solutions, valuing practicality over idealism. Bonus Qualifications: Familiarity with JNI, Android NDK, and Kotlin. Experience in TypeScript.
