We are searching for a result-oriented Sales Associate to join the GAL Manufacturing team at Vantage Elevation. Vantage Elevation, LLC is North America's leading independent manufacturer of elevator components and systems. Vantage is comprised of eight business units including GAL Manufacturing; GAL Canada; Hollister-Whitney; Elevator Controls; Courion; Bore-Max; Thames Valley Controls and Vertical Dimensions. Through its brands, Vantage supplies almost all electro-mechanical devices used in contemporary elevators. The Vantage Group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom. The Sales Associate is responsible for proactively managing and closing sales opportunities generated from existing Door Equipment quotes. This role is a vital link between the quoting process and final sale, requiring persistence, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service and meeting sales objectives. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales Operations and Customer Service. Requirements: We are searching for a candidate with: High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Development, or customer-facing role, with a focus on closing sales. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals/quotas. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and persuasive telephone presence. Strong active listening and objection-handling skills. Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite. Highly organized, persistent, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment. Duties and Responsibilities: A typical day may include: Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for quote conversions and generated revenue. Provide regular, accurate reports on the status of the quote pipeline and forecast expected closures. Collaborate with the Sales Operations and Customer Service teams to improve the efficiency of the quoting and lead-generation processes. Build and maintain rapport with potential and existing customers to foster long-term relationships. Educate prospects on the value and benefits of the company's products/services, reinforcing the quoted solution. Maintain meticulous records of all communications, follow-up activities, and sales pipeline status in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Identify potential roadblocks to close the sale. Work proactively to overcome customer objections and provide additional information, such as product details or technical specifications utilizing the Vantage resources such as Territory Sales Managers, Engineers, etc. Accurately processed sales orders to ensure a smooth handover to the Sales Operations team. Systematically follow up with prospects and customers on all outstanding Door Equipment and Controller quotes within a defined Value and timeframe (e.g., between $10k and $25k, 24-48 hours and subsequent touchpoints). Contact leads primarily via phone, email, and CRM-based communications to ascertain the status of proposals.
