*Why this role is different*
This isn’t a standard data role and it’s not a traditional account management role either.
You’ll be trusted with *highly complex, large scale data* (often up to *millions of data points*) and given real ownership to *interpret, rationalise, and transform it* into something commercially meaningful for clients. Your judgement matters here you’ll be expected to make logical assumptions, spot risks, and explain the impact clearly.

*The Role*
As a Data Account Manager, you’ll combine *data management, analysis, and client communication*.
You’ll work with raw sales and supplier data that may arrive in Excel, PDFs, or other formats, often inconsistent or unstructured. Your job is to turn that into accurate, usable insight.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and transforming large, complex datasets
* Using advanced Excel to manipulate data, calculate averages, and validate accuracy
* Applying logic and rationale to structure data appropriately
* Identifying errors, inconsistencies, and risk, and assessing client impact
* Presenting insights clearly to clients, both written and verbal
* Managing client expectations while handling shifting priorities
Power BI exposure is highly beneficial.
*About You*
This role would suit:
* A *graduate level candidate with some work experience*, or
* Someone with strong analytical and communication skills
You don’t need a formal data background, but you _must_ have:
* *Advanced demonstrable Excel skills* and confidence working with very large spreadsheets
* Exceptional attention to detail accuracy is critical
* Strong analytical thinking and the ability to interpret complex information
* Clear, confident communication skills for client facing conversations
* The discipline to juggle priorities and deadlines
You’ll be coachable, curious, and motivated by continuous improvement. Someone who enjoys learning and contributing ideas.
