Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part time Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, experience in food and beverage service, and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve guests in a lively environment, including fine dining, nightclub, banquet, and catering settings. The Bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring all safety and food handling standards are met. The shifts available are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11am to 4pm. Sunday 12 to 9pm

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a memorable experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
• Take orders for food and beverages in various settings including fine dining, nightclub, banquet, and catering events.
• Ensure responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
• Uphold all food safety regulations related to food handling and beverage service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environments; fine dining or food industry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately.
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
• Previous experience with serving in hospitality settings such as catering or food service is advantageous.
