Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, office management experience, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities are a plus, as well as experience with various office software and systems. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and professionalism are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk duties, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other office management tools for daily tasks
  • Handle customer support inquiries via phone or email, providing exceptional service and support
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar software as needed
  • Support office management functions such as inventory control, supply ordering, and record keeping
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and professionalism
  • Perform clerical duties including typing, photocopying, and document preparation

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
  • Experience with data entry, filing systems, and proofreading documents accurately
  • Ability to operate multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous for communicating with diverse clients or staff
  • Previous office management or administrative experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
  • Strong computer literacy and familiarity with office equipment such as printers and scanners
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
