Position Summary
The Clinical Assistant at BIOMEND Aesthetics & Wellness plays a vital role in delivering our signature high-touch, medically grounded, patient-centered experience. This hybrid position combines concierge-level patient support with hands-on clinical responsibilities, ensuring that every BIOMEND patient receives exceptional care—from check-in to follow-up to optimize clinic outcomes and patient relationships.
This team member supports our providers in phlebotomy, aesthetics, hormone optimization, regenerative medicine, and weight-loss programs while also navigating the digital systems and workflows that keep BIOMEND running efficiently.
The ideal candidate is warm, polished, clinically competent, tech-savvy, and passionate about aesthetics and whole-body wellness. This job requires taking INITIATIVE to help the entire team create the BIOMEND patient experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience & Concierge Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for BIOMEND patients, delivering responsive, compassionate, and professional communication.
- Guide patients through digital intake, consent forms, memberships, treatment plans, and follow-up processes.
- Maintain BIOMEND's high standard of hospitality—ensuring every patient feels welcomed, seen, and deeply supported.
- Manage portal messages, texts, and calls with excellent turnaround time and attention to detail.
- Reinforce treatment expectations, aftercare instructions, and next steps to support patient confidence and safety.
Clinical Responsibilities
(Performed under provider supervision and within training/licensure scope)
Phlebotomy & Lab Support
- Perform venipuncture for BIOMEND wellness, hormone, weight-loss, and specialty lab panels.
- Start IVs and assist providers with administering IV infusions.
- Process and prepare samples (labeling, centrifuging, packaging) according to lab standards.
- Enter and manage lab orders in Quest, LabCorp, or specialty diagnostic portals.
- Track incoming results, flag urgent findings, and ensure timely provider review.
- Maintain specimen logs and support BIOMEND's quality-control standards.
- Perform sterilization procedures for surgical instruments.
Weight-Loss Program Follow-Up
- Conduct delegated follow-up visits including vitals, body composition, progress photos, and medication adherence review.
- Assess patient tolerance to GLP-1s or peptide therapies and escalate clinical concerns to the provider.
- Document progress and provide lifestyle education consistent with BIOMEND protocols.
Aesthetic & Hormone Procedure Assistance
- Prepare treatment rooms, supplies, and devices for neurotoxins, dermal fillers, IV therapy, NAD+, hormone pellets, and aesthetic technologies.
- Apply topical numbing agents under protocol and assist with patient positioning and comfort.
- Support providers during procedures with setup, photography, device operation support, and sterile technique assistance.
- Perform post-procedure cleanup and prepare the room for the next patient.
- Maintain and track BIOMEND's aesthetic device maintenance schedule.
Clinical Documentation
- Accurately document vitals, labs, procedure assists, follow-up visits, and patient interactions in BIOMEND's EMR.
- Upload treatment photos, update plans, and ensure chart completeness.
- Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and aesthetic medical compliance standards.
Technical & Operational Support
- Manage EMR, CRM, scheduling systems, telehealth tools, automations, and BIOMEND's patient communication platforms.
- Troubleshoot technical issues for staff and patients; coordinate with vendors when necessary.
- Optimize workflows by improving templates, digital forms, and automated patient journeys.
- Support BIOMEND marketing initiatives by sending reminders, patient education messages, and occasional content support.
Administrative & Clinic Flow Responsibilities
- Assist with treatment room stocking, inventory tracking, supply ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Support the front desk when needed, including check-in, check-out, payments, and product sales.
- Ensure BIOMEND's environment remains clean, organized, and aligned with our luxury aesthetic brand.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and practice-improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant training, phlebotomy certification, or clinical experience required - 2+ years phlebotomy desired.
- Experience in medical aesthetics, regenerative medicine, or wellness clinics is ideal.
- Strong ability to learn and manage digital systems quickly (EMR/CRM proficiency required).
- Exceptional communication skills and a polished, hospitality-focused demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
