Restaurant Host/Hostess Leader

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods
• Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
• Assist in answering phone calls, taking reservations, and providing information about the menu and restaurant services
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
• Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host/host area
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy

Experience

• Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, with a background in food service or restaurant environments being highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills, with a focus on hospitality and guest relations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette
• Experience in hotel settings or guest services is beneficial but not required
