Job Title: Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Therapist (In-Home & Community-Based Services)

Location: Lower Shore of Maryland (Wicomico County & Worcester County)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide in-home and community-based therapy services to children and families throughout Wicomico and Worcester Counties (Somerset County is an option as well). This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives by supporting their functional skills in real-world environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations
  • Develop individualized, strengths-based treatment plans to support each child's functional needs.
  • Provide in-home and community-based speech language pathology services, incorporating play-based and family-centered interventions.
  • Educate and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support carryover of therapy strategies in daily routines.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to promote engagement and participation in meaningful activities.
  • Travel within Wicomico and Worcester Counties to provide therapy services in home, daycare, and community settings.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Speech Therapist in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in home-based or community settings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the service area.
