Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Operator to join our team at Armstrong Pharmaceuticals in Canton, MA. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, contributing directly to our mission of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities

  • Operate filling/packaging equipment.
  • Clean, filling/packaging equipment
  • Supply components needed to operate filling/packaging equipment.
  • Load components into machine.
  • Unload filled unit or packed case from machine.
  • Perform gowning procedures with regard to proper cGMP in order to safely enter and work in the controlled environment.
  • Identify problematic areas and report to Line Supervisor, QA inspector or Maintenance mechanic
  • Work in a manner to maintain the cleanness the certified environment, clothing, equipment and components.
  • Perform cleaning of the areas in compliance with established procedure.
  • Maintain standards of personal hygiene consistent with working in certified environments.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit.
  • May require overtime or adjustable hours when necessary to accommodate the production schedule or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate various machinery.
  • Familiarity with assembly line processes and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
