Electric Cart Operator Supervisor

SUMMARY:

The Car Operator is responsible for greeting and assisting travelers. The Car Operator will also transport travelers from the concord to the gates and from the gates to the concord.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Oversee the daily activities, and Cart Operator staff per contractual agreement.
2. Greet and assist travelers with transportation to and from the passenger airline gates.
3. Maintain high level of professional customer service.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greet travelers within 10 seconds in a courteous manner. Greets every Traveler with

"Good morning (afternoon)" and thanks the individual.

1. Keeps the cart neat, clean, and well organized.
2. Attends meetings and training sessions as required.
3. Maintains acceptable attendance, personal hygiene, and dress code standards including wearing company issued name badges and uniforms.
4. Cleans up all work areas at the end of each shift.
5. Follows all Goodwill Industries and El Paso Airport policies and procedures.
6. Ensures all safety rules are adhered to and the general upkeep of the area meets the standards of Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc.
7. Ensures cart is in good working condition, check lights, horn, brakes, and tires. BEFORE CART IS MOVED DAILY.
8. Reports accidents or injuries immediately.
9. Maintains a high level of confidentiality regarding Goodwill Industries of El Paso, Inc. and persons receiving services.
10. Schedule staff weekly hours, make sure all-time sheets are correct and turned in on time.
11. Assist with performance evaluations.
12. Able to work a rotating schedule, weekends, and holidays.
13. Assists in other areas as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. No experience required; training will be provided but must know how to drive.
3. Ability to provide good customer service and be friendly and polite.
4. Ability to make quick decisions.
5. Ability to read, write and speak English (preferred) and have a basic math aptitude.
6. Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
7. Must be able to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends).
8. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
9. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, customers, and persons receiving services.
10. Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
