Job description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

***This position is in Monticello, MN and the individuals that live there prefer female staff***

Hours:

Overnights (Tuesdays & Thursdays) 8pm-8am and 10pm-8am

Afternoon/Evening Shifts 1:15pm-9pm and 2pm-8pm

E/O Weekend (Saturday) 10am-3pm and 1pm-8pm

We offer a weekend pay differential of $2 more/hour

PAY (M-F): Awake hours=$18.00, Asleep hours=$11.15

PAY WEEKENDS (Friday 3pm-Monday 9am): Awake=$20.00, Asleep=$13.15

Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Promote independence and ensure the rights and dignity of each individual are respected
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Implement individualized care plans and document progress
- Maintain a clean and safe environment

Skills:
- Knowledge of medication administration and resident rights is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
