About Us:
Our rapidly growing, privately owned, and managed dental practice in Grants Pass, OR, is seeking a highly motivated, friendly, and energetic individual to train as a dental assistant and help us care for our wonderful patients. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to jumpstart their career as a Dental Assistant but hasn't been able to enroll in a dental assisting course due to time or financial constraints. We provide hands-on training for individuals with little or no dental experience, making this the perfect way to launch your career

How You'll Help Our Patients Live Longer, Happier Lives:
- Welcome patients, help them feel comfortable, and prepare them for procedures.
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and treatments.
- Review and update patient dental records as needed.
- Provide instruments and materials to the dentist during procedures.
- Sterilize, disinfect, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Organize and prepare instrument trays for upcoming procedures.
- Educate patients on postoperative care and promote good oral health habits.
Who We're Looking For:
Availability:
- Able to work shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., including some Saturdays (no Sundays). Please apply only if you meet this availability.
Professional Skills and Competencies:
- Organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A willingness and ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to multitask while effectively managing time and priorities.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Dependable, demonstrating reliability and a high level of professionalism.
Preferred, but not required:
- Working knowledge of Open Dental
- EFDA and Oregon X ray certified
- High school diploma or equivalent
