Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team by providing clear direction, mentorship, and support to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and service.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to meet fine dining standards.
  • Manage menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Supervise food production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety protocols and dietary guidelines.
  • Coordinate catering events and banquet services with precision to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and manage procurement processes to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Oversee shift management by organizing staff schedules, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring smooth operational flow throughout service hours.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing teams effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and sanitation practices.
  • Experience with banquet services, catering operations, and large-scale event coordination is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, cost control measures, and food industry best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff members and coordinate with other departments effectively.
