The Original Mels at 1501 Travis Blvd, Suite B, Fairfield CA has the following positions open for immediate hire:

We are seeking fun, outgoing, and high-energy individuals to join our team as Supervisors.

All positions have the potential for overtime and will require a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends or holidays if needed, and USA approved work authorization.
Supervisors - $21-$25/hr depending on experience.

Supervisor is responsible for representing The Original Mels Diners by providing customers with an enjoyable experience while they are dining with us. Supervisors are also responsible for overseeing the restaurant at a higher level and must be able to represent the company and enforce company policies and standards in the Front of the House.

1. Ensure that all employees are following what the company expects of their position

2. Must touch every table and ensures that customers feel the positive atmosphere

3. Report any employee issues or positive occurrences to management at end of shift

4. Knowledgeable on employment laws

5. Compliant with all company training programs

6. Does not take a station and does not receive tips

7. Ensures that all side work is completed and assigned

8. Assist as needed in all areas of the restaurant

9. Handle customer relations

10. Covering schedules as needed

11. If Opening/Closing- ensure that all Opening/Closing duties are completed per GM instructions

12. Follow up on all orders to ensure that they are correct

13. Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Current Food Handler Card

2. Must be 18+ in age

3. Great Customer service

4. Can ensure ServSafe Compliance

5. Complete Supervisor Sexual Harassment course within 3 months of hire and recertify in the required timeline thereafter

6. Has great communication skills (both written and verbal)

7. People skills are a requirement.

8. Multitasking

9. Flexible Schedule- must be able to work on weekends and holidays if needed

10. Must be able and happy to work on a team
