Senior Machine Learning Engineer

We're seeking a senior Founding AI/ML Engineer to build and scale production-grade machine learning systems from the ground up. This role offers full ownership across the ML lifecycle and meaningful influence on technical direction in an early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy scalable ML and LLM-based systems in production
• Own end-to-end ML workflows including data pipelines, experimentation, and monitoring
• Apply modern techniques across deep learning, generative AI, and foundation models
• Build and maintain MLOps infrastructure for reproducibility, deployment, and reliability
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering to translate goals into ML solutions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in machine learning, AI, or software engineering
• Strong foundation in ML/DL algorithms, statistics, and data processing
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, transformers, or foundation models
• Proven experience deploying production-grade ML systems
• Proficiency in Python, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and containerized environments
• Familiarity with ML pipelines and tooling (Airflow, MLflow, or equivalent)
• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or related field
