Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and upkeep of the building and equipment. This role requires a self-motivated and reliable individual who is eager to learn new skills, demonstrates strong communication abilities, works well both independently and collaboratively, and excels in problem-solving.

What You'll Be Doing:

Repairs

• Perform all repairs on pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, forklift attachments, maintenance equipment, balers, AGVs and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.
• Perform repairs on facility as needed
• Prepare company required reports and work orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Communicate with vendors as directed.

Miscellaneous

• Help change batteries on material handling equipment
• Help ensure daily lift inspections are completed per OSHA guidelines

Preventative Maintenance

• Carry out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Comply with OSHA, and other appropriate standards and regulations.

Education (preferred level) - High School diploma.

Experience (the minimum level of direct experience in a similar position) - One to three years

Knowledge/Experience/Skills: Warehouse equipment maintenance experience. Knowledge of troubleshooting PLC and robotic material handling equipment. Knowledge of job related OSHA regulations. The ability to comprehend written policies and procedures and to follow oral instructions. Experience welding in the repair of equipment, certified welder preferred. Experience repairing hydraulic equipment. Experience with gasoline, propane, electric, and diesel engines and warehouse equipment.

Maintenance Technician will need to supply his/her own hand tools.
