Responsible for fulfilling LADD's mission to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live, work and connect; engages directly with developmentally disabled adults and their families based on their prescribed individual needs Reports To Chief Operating Officer

Summary:
The Program Director is part of the senior management team and is responsible for the planning, development, execution, compliance and quality control of LADD programs.
Essential Functions
Program Leadership and Support
Strategic planning; sets the vision for their department
Develops and manages program budgets
Ensures daily tasks are handled appropriately
Coaching and mentoring of direct reports
Makes final determination of the organization's ability to provide services to applicable program participants and referrals
Collaboration and Communication
Communicates with executive leadership regarding challenges and successes
Collaborates with other department leaders and staff
Talks to direct report regularly and connects with indirect reports as often as possible
Communicates effectively, appropriate, and timely with all external entities related to the programs (e.g., regulatory agencies, stakeholders, partners, etc.)
Participates in organizational and programmatic strategic planning
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensures compliance related to program functions (e.g., health and safety, billing, etc.); ensures timely and accurate reporting/documentation
Keeps up to date with changing regulations
Models The LADD Way (TLW)
Proactively collaborates with the HR team o Exhibits TLW fundamentals for all staff while supporting the,
Represents LADD to the public in a positive manner as appropriate
Stays up to date on industry practices and ensures appropriate ongoing training of current staff
Keeps up-to-date on all relevant training and certifications
Additional Responsibilities
Assists with special projects as needed
Fills in for staff when necessary
Serves as an advocate for the organization's mission and programs in the community
Attends necessary seminars, workshops and conferences related to newest requirements and rules/regulations applicable to the organization
Hires and trains staff as necessary
Education/Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field required
A minimum of 5 years of program management experience required
Experience working with people who have developmental disabilities and/or in the developmental disability system is a plus
Working knowledge of benefits received by those the organization serves (e.g., SSI, SSD, and Medicaid)
Demonstrated progressive supervisory skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software application platforms
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and/or evenings
Job will include being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and will require travel to other locations
