Reliability Engineer

As a Reliability Engineer, you will drive asset reliability, equipment performance, and maintenance optimization within a heavy industrial metals manufacturing environment.
Your focus will be on improving equipment uptime, reducing unplanned failures, and implementing data-driven strategies to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends and improve reliability.
Develop and optimize Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) strategies. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCFA) for critical failures and implement corrective actions.
Support spare parts optimization using failure and usage data. Integrate Condition Monitoring (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, etc.) into maintenance plans.
Maintain and improve asset criticality rankings and failure mode databases. Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams on equipment upgrades and modifications.
Ensure compliance with OEM specs, QA/QC testing, and warranty validation. Support commissioning of new assets and develop maintenance procedures for startup.
Lead technical training initiatives for PdM and reliability tools.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering 3–5 years of reliability/maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or metals manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of reliability tools (RCM, FMEA, Weibull, etc.) Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Excel/Project Experience with Predictive Maintenance technologies
Solid analytical, communication, and project management skills Preferred Skills:
Experience with asset hierarchy and criticality assessment Familiarity with ISO standards or TPM frameworks Knowledge of metallurgy-related equipment (e.g., furnaces, rolling mills, casting, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110, $120,000.00 per year
