Position Overview

The Wilson Companies is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dig Laborer to join our field operations team. This role supports excavation, repair, and installation work and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on labor, working outdoors, and being part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual digging and trenching as needed
• Assist with underground utility, plumbing, or restoration work
• Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Follow directions from supervisors and crew leads
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
• Live the Core Values in every interaction
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Construction or labor experience preferred, but not required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Work both indoors and outdoors
• Would be exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures
• Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
• Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
• Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
• Will be exposed to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and work from roofs and scaffolding
• Will work around exposed contaminants
• Must be able to work in cramped work places, such as crawl spaces under floors.
