Electrical Estimator

Overview
We are looking for a part time remote electrical estimator. We do projects in Nassau and Suffolk county, NY. I need someone who wants to do this on the side or as their primary part time job. I need project's completed from start to finish. You must know estimating in the electrical field

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction estimating software including HeavyBid and Bluebeam for accurate quantity take-offs and bid preparation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC standards, and construction management principles within the electrical trade.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to achieve favorable terms while maintaining quality standards.
• Solid understanding of construction site operations, project management practices, and cost control methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical details and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to interpret complex construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and technical documents related to electrical projects.
• Prior experience in electrical estimation within heavy civil or commercial construction environments is highly desirable. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $37.12 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
